At the moment we are preparing to ship another 40ft container to Kenya. In 2014 we were able to send the first one with hundreds of wheelchairs, who got distributed in 2015 together with our partner Nathan Hall Williams Center. End of last year we started collecting again. This autumn soon as all paperworks are handled the next container will be on it's way to Nakuru. This time we are also sending hospital beds for a maternity and lots of therapeutic aid for our rehabilitation center. We keep you posted.
This month we sponsored a clinic in the isolated village of Gata Maiyo, a UN identified village for underdevelopment in Gilgil. In 2011 our first project was to help our friend Tomohiro from Ischinomaki in Japan. He played in a hardcore band called Ragnarok. In March 2011 his school became a refugee camp after the earthquake and tsunami. His town and parts of his school were destroyed. In the beginning over 1500 people fleed in this school, and after 7 months there were still 200 people living in the school. In the beginning we collected clothes and donations for new school uniforms and school supplies. And later to we send donations which were used for food and household equipment.
We are working on a new online shop. We had some troubles with the old one. Just be a little patient, the new shop will be back early september. If you ordered something lately you will get a notification when it will be shipped or refunded. Sorry for the inconvenience.
On Saturday July 09th we had our 5th anniversary in Halver. Over 1000 visitors celebrated with us. Many thanks to all the volunteers that helped out and to all the bands that played for free, without them it wouldn't be possible.
.
One of the reasons why we came so far is because so many volunteers took the time and talent to help this organization.
If you are thinking about setting up a benefit show or want to run a sports event and collect donations or just have a creative idea get in touch. We are always looking for people who could help out at our warehouse or at shows.
