Arrived safely! Finally the container with medical equipment has made it to it‘s new home The Nathan Hall Williams Center in Nakuru, Kenya. Thank you all so much for making this possible! There are hundreds of people waiting to get medical equipment. We're looking forward to see the distributions in the next weeks/months.

Delivery of donated men clothes and merchandise, showergel and deodorant to Solidarité Grands Froids, facility in the center of Brussels supporting homeless people. They are always welcoming and thankful for the donations.

Community health volunteers are arguably the most important stakeholder we work with for our health projects. They work tirelessly inside people’s homes, spending their time educating, making referrals to hospitals and clinics, collecting vital data, and acting as a sounding board for their neighbors and beyond. Their work is even more important now that many clinics and hospitals are out of reach or inaccessible due to Covid.
...
As part of our commitment to healthcare, we are taking our “clinics” to the homes of those most in need. On Friday last week, we sponsored a training for 30 new community health volunteers in Nakuru north. They went through an intensive 10 day training to learn everything primary healthcare — family planning, antenatal care, immunization, nutrition, hygiene, HIV, Malaria, Tuberculosis, life skills, and more!
...
These skills are extremely vital as the volunteers are the first point of contact in the community. Over the next few weeks we will share more of what goes on at the household level and how we are continuing to provide primary healthcare in these changing times.

Our container has been spotted in Nairobi today. Last week on July 7th it arrived safely in Mombasa. At the moment our container full with medical equipment is in the verification area and last phase and hopefully arriving at it’s new home The Nathan Hall Williams Center in Nakuru soon. Exciting!

Our container full of medical equipment and mobility devices is arriving at the port of Mombasa TOMORROW! Then begins the process of customs and clearing so that the container can make the long journey from the coast to Nakuru. We are very excited to begin our mobility project again, albeit a bit differently than before. Updates to come as we navigate customs. Thank you to everyone making this project happen.

One of the reasons why we came so far is because so many volunteers took the time and talent to help this organization.
