93th clinic today. It was actually planned for next Tuesday but the Ministry of Health requested we do it today because of busy schedules. Today’s integrated clinic was held in Rhonda, turned out well and saw 230 patients. We offered immunization services for babies, antenatal care, nutrition, family planning, HIV testing and counseling, blood pressure check ups, breast and cervical cancer screening.

In the next days our next container with medical supplies finally will be shipped. And more rehabilitation water projects in Eastern Kenya are planned with other local partners.

Enjoy your weekend everyone and many thanks for your continuous support!

91th medical clinic with our local partner NHWC. Today’s intergrated clinic was held in Kaptembwo where we offered HIV testing and counceling services, cervical cancer & breast cancer screening, nutrition, antenatal care , immunizations 6 family planning. We saw 203 patients today.

Liebe Freunde, Liebe Supporter,

ALTRUJA-PAGE-WAT2

It’s exactly 1 year ago that we released this campaign to raise awareness about clean water and to collect donations for our water filter project in Kenya. In one year we sold 851 clean water shirts! This is something we never expected. So awesome.
In February we’ll proceed again with the next distributions. These take time and are combined with a workshop, the past two months a certificate had to be renewed. Everything has been sorted out again. New distributions with our local partner The Nathan Hall Williams Center are planned within the next weeks. We can't say this enough: thanks for supporting this project, shout out to all the bands and partners.

On Friday 1st February we had our first silkscreen printing workshop at Schule an der Höhe in Lüdenscheid, special school for disabled children in our town. The teachers had a lot of fun.

End of January we released this campaign shirt. Every shirt we sell a family in Kenya gets a waterfilter. In October we have now distributed over 650 waterfilters. A household in Kenya has an average of 6 people this means around 3900 people have become access to clean water through this campaign so far. That’s really awesome. Big thanks to YOU and all the bands and partners for supporting this. Shirt is still available at our booth or in our online store.

Delivery this week to Strassenkinder Ev and Moabit Hilft in Berlin. We delivered hygiene articles, socks, clothes, sleeping bags and other useful goods.

Some pictures from the distribution in September to #moabithilft and #stadtmission in Berlin. Like always they were very thankful.
People are regularly asking if they still can send stuff. The answer is YES PLEASE. At the moment we’re running out of socks, underwear and shoes. If anyone of you has something to donate that would be much appreciated. Other clothes or school supplies are still welcome too. Get in touch by email info@hardcore-help.org

85th clinic today with our local partner The Nathan Hall Williams Center. This integrated clinic was held September 25th in Kaptembwo, Nakuru County. We offered immunizations, antenatal care, nurtrition, hiv testing and councelling, family planning, cervical cancer screening. 196 patients attended the clinic today which is a pretty good turn out. Next to the clinic was a school, the kids in school were given dewormers. Thank you for your permanent support

We have some good news to announce. We found a new partner for our next container project. "Wenn’s im Leben Brennt" is a German civil foundation in Hemer which is located near our town. They bought our next 40 ft container. We're so thankful about this, it's a great start for this new project.

The container is delivered at their plot and we begin with the first part. We have stored many wheelchairs, several hospital beds and other medical supplies here at our warehouse and at the neighbors, everything is going to be stored first in the container. After this we'll see how much we can add. Later this year the container will be shipped to Kenya. If any you have the chance to donate a wheelchair please get in touch, they're always welcome!
Further updates about this project following soon!

One of the reasons why we came so far is because so many volunteers took the time and talent to help this organization.

If you are thinking about setting up a benefit show or want to run a sports event and collect donations or just have a creative idea get in touch. We are always looking for people who could help out at our warehouse or at shows.

Send a mail to info@hardcore-help.org .

You really can make a difference !!!
