Further support for Jugendhilfe Zwischenschritt in Düsseldorf. A committed association that helps stranded young people aged 14 to 17 who have fled their homeland without papers and without parents. We had the opportunity to visit their new location, where these young people can be reintegrated in the long term. In the shared apartment, young refugees live in a project that offers 24-hour care. In a structured framework, concrete action steps and important action skills are developed. Under controlled conditions, the young people have the opportunity to practice starting out on their own, which should help them lead a life that provides a livelihood and is socially accepted.
